How can bodywork help you?
Reduce or eliminate pain with bodywork massage therapy
Bodywork concentrates on fascia (like a gelatinous Spider-Man suit) covering your muscles. When trauma, surgery, or repetition makes it sticky, we warm, stretch, and free it so blood flows and nerves calm.
Injury
Tweaked a hamstring, rolled an ankle, or woke up with a stiff back? We melt that tight tissue so movement stops hurting.
Surgery
Months after a C-section or knee scope, the scar still pulls and burns. Gentle heat and hands-on work let everything relax again.
Stress
Laptop marathons knot your neck and jaw; nights turn restless. Warm cups and steady pressure help shoulders drop and breathing slow.
Repetitive Motion
Typing, golf swings, or carrying kids one-sided fire up elbows and wrists. We trace the line, loosen it, and everyday tasks feel easier.
Chronic Health Conditions
Arthritis, scoliosis, years of low-back pain really take their toll. Regular fascia sessions keep tissue pliable so stairs, steering wheels, and hobbies stay doable.
Acute Health Conditions
Sciatica or a pinched nerve can hit like lightning. Targeted heat eases pressure fast, letting you sit, stand, and breathe without pain.
Feel better - now and later
The benefits of bodywork massage
You ice, stretch, roll, even try “deep pressure” massages, but your hip still catches and nights stay restless. Maybe a surgeon floats the idea of a scope. Before you sign consent forms, learn how heat-assisted fascial massage can loosen scarred or overworked tissue and let nerves finally relax.
Pain Relief
When adhesions let go, that constant ache eases. Many walk out saying, “I already feel lighter.”
Increased Mobility
Freed fascia lets joints glide. Reaching overhead, bending to tie shoes, twisting in the car feel natural again.
Stress Reduction
When pain settles, your nervous system switches from fight-or-flight to rest-and-repair. Shoulders drop, breath deepens, and tension fades.
Improved Flexibility
Heat plus deep work loosens stubborn lines, so stretches actually stretch and athletic training stops arguing with your hamstrings.
Improved Posture
Releasing tight fascia lets you stand tall without forcing it. Breathing opens, and you look as relaxed as you feel.
Better Sleep
Night-time twinges vanish, you roll over undisturbed, and the alarm finds you rested instead of sore.

From stuck to moving again
People arrive with pain that won’t let up. They leave lighter, looser, and more confident. Their words say it best.

Frequently asked questions
Still wondering? If we missed something, please get in touch with our team, we’re happy to answer any questions you might have.
Get in touchWhat should I expect from my first bodywork session?
During your first session you will complete a form with your presenting issues. Your therapist will discuss with you what the issue may be and then you will start your bodywork session. You may experience some bruising or red marks, this will depend on the state of the tissue being worked on. Bodywork can feel intense, especially the first session if there is an injury or trauma to the tissue.
What should I wear to a bodywork session?
Your comfort is a priority during a bodywork session, so choose clothing that makes you feel at ease. Opt for loose-fitting attire or clothing that can be easily adjusted. Some clients prefer to wear underwear or swimwear for added comfort, while others feel more relaxed disrobing entirely. Ultimately, the key is ensuring your therapist can access the areas of your body that require attention to address any pain or discomfort effectively.
How often should I come?
That will vary based on your injury or condition of your tissue. If you have an acute issue that is causing pain or discomfort you may need to come more often in the beginning , every 10 days to 2 weeks, and spread out sessions as you heal. We recommend that you come every 4-6 weeks for maintenance to keep you body healthy. Your therapist will be able to give you a personal recommendation.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept FSA, Flexible Spending Accounts. You can use your FSA debit card or we can write you a receipt. We are working with some specific insurance companies to offer a discount on our services. We will post the details once we have worked out an arrangement.
